Place: Nicolás Oresme Room, Los Madroños Building, UPNa
Organizing: UPNa Enterprises Management Department
Companies undisputedly need innovation to move forward and even to survive. Furthermore, they must complement their internal perspective with innovation processes that are open to various types of cooperation with outsiders (open innovation). In this context, which business models, methods and tools should they use to systematically integrate external sources and skills into the innovarion process? And on the contrary, how can they seize the advantages of letting out their own innovations?
The seminar will provide answers to these questions, basing them on the results of the research project BMOI (Business Models for Open Innovation), conducted by UPNa in collaboration with partners from the University of Stuttgart (Germany) and Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), in the frame of the EURIS program. Three companies from Navarre have also taken part in this project.
The goal of the seminar to provide participants with the basic knowledge and relevant tools to develop their own business models for integrating open innovation processes and thus taking advantage of them at its best.
The event is aimed at executives, innovation and R&D managers, along with the relevant product development and product management personnel from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Also, consultants, students and professionals dealing with strategic or innovation management will be welcomed.
