Ibai Tamayo graduated in Biology (2005) and Biochemistry (2007) at the University of
Navarra. Received his PhD degree in 2010 in vaccinology focused in immune response
modification by nanoparticles administration of microbial antigens. After the postdoc in vascular
therapeutic targets for stroke, malaria and thrombotic disorders, he worked in the R&D process
development area in the biopharmaceutical industry. Last years, his main field of interest
has focused in diabetes and vascular complications and has worked as collaborator of the
Endocrinology service of the of the Health system of Navarre since 2016, becoming University
Expert in Data Sciences and Big Data in 2018. Currently he is working in data analysis and knowledge extraction from Real World Data in the Unit of methodology of Navarrabiomed in Pamplona.
